Leith Chrysler Jeep Dumps and Donates for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

No surprises here, the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has been making its way from dealer to dealer, and the bucket was finally passed to us at Leith Chrysler Jeep. Take it away, boys:

You heard them, but just in case, we’ll spell it out here.

Leith Chrysler Jeep is taking their own spin on the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, doing a Dump and Donate. We’re giving $100 to the ALS Association for every new Chrysler and Jeep vehicle sold in the past two days.

We are also extending the challenge to the following:

Mike Garner and Russell Cayton at Autopark Chrysler Jeep in Cary

Doug Durham at Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM in Wendell

Jimmy Parkin at Leith Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM Aberdeen

And our very own General Manager, Weldon Tilley.

Gentleman, we know that it can be tough to find time for an impromptu ice bath during a busy day, so we won’t impose the normal twenty-four hour time limit, but we do expect to see you out in front of your dealerships with a row of buckets before the end of the month.

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the central nervous system and that results in the death of motor neurons. Victims of the disease may end up completely paralyzed. More than five thousand people are diagnosed with ALS in the United States every year. To learn more about the disease, get involved, or donate you can visit www.alsa.org, the official website of the ALS Association.
