It’s no secret that the times are a-changin’. The signs are evident, front and center in the headlines each and every day. There may not be anything more indicative of the age we live in than this story, though.
Car and Driver is reporting that Jeep is considering ways to hybridize its lineup. Now we know what you must be thinking: “A Jeep hybrid? It’s practically a paradox.” Well apparently they are looking into the technology but haven’t made any firm decisions yet. In all likelihood, Jeep will phase in hybrid elements, evaluating and making changes as they go. It’s new territory for the maker, with all new trails to blaze.
You’ve got to think that if anyone can make it work, it’ll be the Jeep team. You can read more at Car and Driver.
