It’s not officially summer yet, but it sure feels like it around these parts. If you don’t think so, you must not have spent much time outside over the weekend. Jeep has released a series of ads today that should brighten your mood.
We’ve found three in this summer series so far. This first one, entitled “Call of the Summer,” is straight-forward fun in the sun, hanging out at the beach, catching equal parts waves and rays, leaving the top down on the Wrangler all while a catchy new song plays… wait. That voice…
Yes it is MJ. Fresh off of Michael Jackson’s second album since passing, “Love Never Felt So Good” is a groovy throwback from the 80s that’s only just getting released. It was originally written by Jackson and Paul Anka, then demoed in 1983. Now it is the leading single off of Xscape, which you can buy on iTunes. There’s also a duet version featuring Justin Timberlake.
The song features in all three of these Jeep ads, including “Summer Fans,” which is geared toward fans of a certain most-popular-game-in-the-world event happening in Brazil this summer.
Of course while summer, music, and soccer are all worth spreading good feelings for, these are Jeep ads, so they ought to be selling a Jeep or six. You might remember us mentioning the Altitude line a while back. Well that’s what these are for, and you can see the stylish white models cruising around the beach in each spot. All Jeep models have an available Altitude edition, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask us over at Leith Chrysler Jeep.
The last video, “Lovers of the Game,” stars someone else you might recognize. Now with the Cavs in Cleveland, Kyrie Irving spent one whirlwind season tearing up the court at Duke. In this ad, he’s getting his Wrangler on and taking long-distance shots from the back end.
Swish.
