Chrysler was not the only brand to air an inspirational ad on Sunday. Jeep also joined in on drumming up pride, though instead of patriotism, they opted to speak to the youthful spirit in all of us.
The ad is called “Restless,” and as you might imagine it’s about going places. The theme is movement and action, but as the voiceover says, it’s not because we want to. It’s because we have to. There’s a biological reflex that we can’t overcome, an urge to stand up and start running.
“Stillness is what actually kills us.”
It’s poetic, speaking to the indomitable drive inside of us to seek open sky, free from the light and noise and closeness of civilization. From time to time, we just have to get out of town and do something wild, something risky, something emboldening.
And the way we get there is the 2014 Jeep Cherokee.
If you are one of the restless many, we want to hear from you. Leave a comment or send us an email at comments@leithmail.com that tells us the story of the last time you took your Jeep on an adventure. If you want, you can even visit us at Leith Chrysler Jeep and tell us about it in person. We can’t wait to hear from you.
